If you manage multifamily websites, are you using professional SEO? If you aren’t, it might be time to ask yourself: Why not?

Websites perform better with professional SEO for multifamily, and we have the data to prove it. We recently wrapped up a case study that we can’t wait to show you.

Ready to see the data, results and takeaways?

The study details

How do property websites perform after one year with professional SEO, compared to the year before without it?

We wanted to find out. Our team looked at how professional SEO impacts performance metrics across the board, from pageviews to average session length.

More specifically, our two-year study pulled Google Analytics data from four companies and 96 properties, before and after implementing REACH SEO. This study compared 67 property websites using SEO Grow, our full-service offering, to 29 using SEO Foundations, our signature offering.

We tracked six key performance indicators (KPIs):

  1. Views
  2. Views per user
  3. Sessions
  4. Engaged sessions
  5. Average session length
  6. Average engagement time/user

Here’s what we found

Spoiler: SEO Grow produced the most traffic and engagement, but SEO Foundations performed well too.

We’ll explain the results below, but here’s a look at the data:

Even with a slight dip in engaged sessions, SEO Grow crushed it across all other KPIs. We saw significant improvements in how long users stayed, how much they viewed and how often they engaged with content.

SEO Foundations also delivered solid performance (Grow just clearly had the edge).

Why did SEO Grow take the lead?

Ok, SEO Grow outperformed SEO Foundations, but why? The former offers a bit more in terms of service.

SEO Grow includes:

  • Optimization of all pages = more search visibility
  • Monthly reporting = more transparency into what’s working
  • Quarterly updates = more opportunity to fine-tune strategies

In short, these differences set SEO Grow apart to improve traffic and engagement. But remember: While SEO Foundations doesn’t include the same scope of service, it still drove performance improvements.

The takeaway

The data tell us that property websites perform better with professional SEO. And either form of REACH SEO — Grow or Foundations — is better than none at all.

Whether you’re leasing up a new development or navigating a crowded submarket, professional SEO for multifamily websites leads to more engaged prospects and quality leads.
